Ingredients
1 large pear
1 medium apple
2 cups chopped honeydew melon
2 tbsp ghee
4 tsp sugar (or as per taste)
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp chopped cashewnuts (kaju)
2 tsp sliced almonds (badam)
2 tsp chopped pistachio
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
Method
    Method
  1. Roughly grate the apple, pear and melon after removing the peel and seeds.
  2. In a microwave safe deep dish, add 1 tbsp of ghee and microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds or just enough to melt the ghee.
  3. Add the nuts and microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds to roast the nuts. Remove onto separate plate.
  4. Again, in the same bowl, add 1 more tbsp of ghee and heat for 30 seconds.
  5. Add the fruits and mix well and microwave for 4 minutes stirring after 2 minutes.
  6. Cover and cook for 2 minutes, again stirring once in between or till they become soft and cooked.
  7. Add the sugar, cardamom powder, mix well and cook for 2 minutes and cook again for 1 minute.
  8. Add 1/3 cup of warm milk, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Mix in the roasted nuts and serve. garnish with thin roughly chopped almonds.
  10. Serve hot.
