Moderately spiced mushrooms stuffed with paneer make an excellent cocktail snack combination which can else be served as a vegetable dish with meals.

Ingredients
200 gms fresh button mushrooms (khumbh)
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

To Be Mixed Into A Stuffing
100 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 chopped green chillies
2 pinches of sugar
a few raisins (kismis)
salt to taste

For The Topping
tabasco sauce
Method
    Method
  1. Wash the mushrooms and take out the thick stems.
  2. Put them in hot water for 2 minutes and drain.
  3. Fill the mushrooms with the prepared stuffing and keep aside.
  4. At the time of serving, heat the oil in a tava and cook the mushrooms for 2 minutes.
  5. Add salt and toss gently.
  6. Top with a few drops of tabasco sauce and serve hot.
