Ingredients
250 gms potatoes
100 gms peanuts
50 gms rajgira flour
50 gms soaked sago (sabudana)
salt to taste
sugar to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1 to 2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp sesame seeds (til)
2 tsp freshly grated coconut
curd for kneading
oil for deep frying
chopped coriander (dhania) to garnish
Method
    Method
  1. Chop the potatoes into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Roast the groundnuts and then peel the skin and blend in a mixer to a coarse powder.
  3. Combine the sago, potatoes and the flour along with the remaining ingredients and mix well and knead into a soft dough, using curds.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small cylindrical.
  5. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the muthias till they turn golden brown and crisp.
  6. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
