1 kg ripe red tomatoes
3/4 kg sugar
200 gms ghee
2 to 3 limes

  1. Blanch tomatoes. remove the skin. cut into half and remove seeds as much as u can.
  2. Lightly blend in a mixer or cut the flesh into small pieces.
  3. Keep a pan on the stove. add ghee. once ghee melts slowly add the tomato. stir. add sugar along. cook on a slow fire stirring often. when the
  4. Mixture thickens, put off the stove and squeeze in juice of lemon. mix well. cool it and then store this jam in glass containers. this stays good for nearly a year.
