Laden with the combined goodness of iron rich spinach and heart friendly nuts, the Spinach with ground nuts is an easy nutritious and delicious vegetable recipe. The spinach puree is mixed with a ground nut paste and then relished with boiled rice.

Ingredients

300 gms spinach (palak)
100 gms peanuts
4 to 5 bird eye chillies
salt to taste
1/8 tsp M.S.G
2 cups water
Method


  1. Boil water in a sauceoan
  2. Pound groundnuts along with chillies in a mortar
  3. Add salt and ajinomoto to make a fine paste (you may add few drops of water)
  4. Thoroughly wash and cut spinach
  5. Once the water is completely boiled mix spinach and cover the saucepan
  6. Let it boil for 3 - 4 min or until the spinach is soft
  7. Drain spinach and mix well with the groundnuts paste
  8. Its ready to be eaten with white boiled rice
