    2. In a deep bowl, add 1 cup chopped banana. The combination of banana and chocolate creates a rich and indulgent flavor profile.

    3. Mash the bananas well using a fork.

    4. Add ½ cup melted butter. Melted butter adds a rich, buttery flavor that complements the sweetness of the bananas and the chocolate.

    5. Add ½ cup castor sugar. Castor sugar provides the necessary sweetness to balance the richness of the chocolate and the natural sweetness of the bananas.

    6. Add ½ cup brown sugar. Brown sugar adds a deeper, more complex flavor profile compared to white sugar. It imparts a warm, molasses-like sweetness that complements the chocolate and banana flavors.

    7. Add 1 egg. Eggs act as a binding agent, holding all the ingredients together to form a cohesive batter.

    8. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Vanilla extract imparts a delightful aroma to the cake, making it even more enticing. You can also use a little cinnamon powder for the added flavour.

    9. Whisk the mixture well until well combined.

    10. Sieve 1½ cups of plain flour (maida). Plain flour (all-purpose flour) plays a crucial role in a chocolate banana cake recipe. It provides the structure and framework for the cake.

    11. Add 1 tsp baking powder. Baking powder ensures that the cake rises evenly, preventing it from sinking in the middle or having a dense texture.

    12. Add ½ tsp baking soda

    13. Add a pinch of salt.

    14. Add ½ cup chopped dark chocolate. Dark chocolate intensifies the chocolate flavor, making it richer and more decadent.

Hi, You can use normal castor sugar instead of brown sugar. If you do not have fresh cream add full fat milk, but start with 1/2 cup of milk and then gradually increase to adjust the consistency.
