For Eggless Chocolate Banana Cake
1 cup roughly chopped bananas
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Method
For chocolate banana cake
- To make chocolate banana cake recipe, in a deep bowl, mash the bananas well using a fork.
- Add melted butter, castor sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture well until well combined.
- Sieve plain flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add a pinch of salt and chopped dark chocolate.
- Fold everything well using a spatula to make a lump free batter.
- Transfer the batter into the greased and lined tin. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top.

Hi, Can I use normal sugar instead of brown sugar. I don?t hve fresh cream or anything. Can I make this cake without cream. Or can I use yogurt instead of cream. Plz revert back.

Hi, You can use normal castor sugar instead of brown sugar. If you do not have fresh cream add full fat milk, but start with 1/2 cup of milk and then gradually increase to adjust the consistency.

I tried this recipe, used half quantity for everything,since this was the first time.i used walnuts and choclate chips also as topping.. it was simply yum, got over in one go
