Ingredients
1/2 cup quinoa , washed and drained
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup soaked and cooked kabuli channa
1/2 cup colored capsicum cubes (yellow and green)
1/2 cup blanched broccoli florets
salt to taste

To Be Mixed Into A Balsamic Dressing
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
salt and to taste
Method
    Method
  1. Heat 1 cup of water in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil, add the quinoa and little salt, mix gently and cook on medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Transfer it to a plate and let it cool completely.
  3. Combine the quinoa, brown rice, kabuli channa, colored capsicum , broccoli and salt in a deep bowl and mix well.
  4. Add the balsamic dressing and toss well.
  5. Serve immediately.

I always wanted to try quinoa, this is a perfect combination of the balsamic dressing poured over the quinoa..it is a delicious starter salad I made for my friends and they were so impressed.thanks for sharing this recipe...
