Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously. It is important to stir continuously so that the milk and cheese don’t burn.
Switch off the flame and add the mustard powder. This adds a unique flavor to the cheese sauce.
Also and the salt and mix well. Keep aside. As the cheese is already salty, be careful of how much salt you add. You can even add a little pepper powder if you wish.
Take a serving plate and arrange 1 cup of corn chips on it. We can use the store bought variety but the homemade corn chips taste much better!
Pour ½ cup of baked beans evenly all over the corn chips. The baked beans are store bought. You can also use fresh Refried beans which are lot healthier than canned baked beans. Just follow our recipe of refried beans and that can also be served as a snack or given with whole wheat tortillas.
Spread ½ portion of the uncooked salsa over it.
