1/2 cup milk powder
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp white butter
Method
- To make homemade condensed milk, combine all the ingredients and 6½ tbsp of hot water in a mixer and blend till smooth.
- Use the homemade condensed milk as required or store it in an air-tight container in a refrigerator.

Hi, The shelf life is always mentioned in the packet. If opened, it is better to store it in the refrigerator, it stays good for a longer period.

Can we use yellow butter if white butter is not available or can we use homemade butter

Condensed milk.. ready in minutes.. at home.. this is just amazing, and this is really quick to make it.. Now when ever there is a shortage at home, i prefer making this at home.. Thank you..

What is Shelf Life for this condensed milk. Can it be made in large qty, using the same proportions of ingredients, and stored in fridge, for future use as and when reqd.

HI ma''am.... I really liked the recipe and I needed it a lot.... The only query I have is that is there any substitute to milk powder.... can I use full fat milk or low fat milk instead.... please guide me...

Hi Apoorva, No there is no substitute, milk powder gives it the consistency so do use it.
