An all time favourite! Noodles tossed with garlic and vegetables or any other ingredients of your choice like mushrooms etc. This celebrated Chinese dish gets its name from the Chinese province of Hakka.
Restaurants in India do not add as much chilli as mentioned in this recipe, but we have stayed with the traditional recipe. Feel free to make it your way, if you are not fond of spicy food.
- Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan over a high flame. Add the garlic and dry red chillies and stir fry over a high flame for a few seconds.
- Add the cabbage, capsicum and spring onion whites and stir fry over a high flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the noodles and salt, mix well and stir fry for 1 minute.
- Serve hot garnished with the spring onion greens.
