An unusual combination of noodles and curds, all mixed together and baked, this is one quick, easy and tasty dish to conjure up. The dish is usually a little sour, but if you like it otherwise then add a pinch of sugar.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups cooked spaghetti
2 cups blanched and chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
3/4 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tsp oil
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

Method

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and sauté till they turn translucent. Keep aside.
Combine spaghetti, spinach, onions, curds, cheese, plain flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
Layer the mixture in a baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
