  1. To make apple stew for babies, combine the apples and ½ cup of water in a deep non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Cool slightly and blend in a mixer along with 2 tbsp of warm water till smooth.

Look for well coloured apples that are firm with a fresh fragrance. The skin should be smooth, with no bruises or black spots.  
  2. Wash the apple very well with clean water to make it free of dirt if any . Wash it under running water to prevent any sort of contamination. 
  3. Wipe it with a clean kitchen towel.  
  4. Cut the apple into 4 portions vertically using a sharp knife. 
  5. Remove the core and the seeds using the knife and discard them. Alternatively you can also use an apple corer.  
  6. Peel the apple with a sterilized peeler. Peel it very well so that no fibrous part remain. 
  7. Roughly chop the apple using a sterilized sharp knife. 
  8. Transfer the chopped apple into a deep non-stick pan. 
  9. Add ½ cup of water and mix well. 
  10. Cover with a lid and cook them on a medium flame for 8 minutes. The apples should be well-cooked. They should feel soft on touch. 
  11. Keep stirring it occasionally with a ladle. 
  12. Once the apples are cooked, keep them aside to cool slightly. Most of the water will get evaporated. 
  13. Transfer the apples (along with the littler remaining water) into a mixer jar. to make Apple Stew (Apple Puree) for Babies. 
  14. Blend it till smooth to make Apple Puree for Babies. Add 1 to 2 tbsp of warm water if needed to adjust the consistency. Ensure that no pieces of apple remain after blending as that might lead to choking.
