Apple Shrikhand recipe - How to make Apple Shrikhand

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 to 3 servings

3 cups curds (dahi)
1/2 cup sugar
1 grated apple
1/2 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder

For The Garnish
1 tsp milk masala
  1. Pour the curd in a thin muslin cloth and hung it overnight and let the water drain out of the curd.
  2. In a deep bowl combine the hung curd, sugar, apple and cinnamon powder, mix it with the help of blender to a smooth texture.
  3. Ensure that there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Transfer it into a serving bowl and refrigerate for an hour.
  5. Serve cold and garnish with milk masala.


  1. You may also garnish the shrikhand with chopped apples.
