1) if one does not have red and yellow bell peppers, only green capsicum will also do.
2) one can add paneer pieces/sweet corn or any other vegetable as well in the rava-veggie mixture.

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:
For the green chutney:
2 tbsps grounded peanuts
1 bunch coriander leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
100 gms green chillies
100 gms Ginger
100 gms Garlic
100 gms Pudina leaves
Water for blending in mixer.
For the Gold coin topping:
4 cups Rava (Small rava).
200 gms Red, Yellow, Green bell peppers - finely chopped
2 medium Tomatoes - finely chopped
2 medium onions - finely chopped
1 bunch spring onions - finely chopped
3 tbsp coriander leaves - finely chopped
5 tbsp ginger-green chilly paste
salt to taste
1 loaf bread
100 gms butter
1-2 cups water
100 gms Chaat masala
Method


  1. Method:
  2. For the green chutney:
  3. 1) grind all the ingredients of green chutney together in a mixer till finely grounded.
  4. 2) keep the consistency adequate enough to be spread on bread.
  5. For the gold coin topping:
  6. 1) mix rava, salt, ginger-green chilly paste, capsicums, onions, spring onions, tomatoes and water enough to mix and make a thick paste of rava and vegetables.
  7. 2) cut every bread slice into a round shape using any cup.
  8. 3) spread some green chutney on the bread slice.
  9. 4) now spread 2 tbsps of the rava-veggie mixture on top of this.
  10. 5) sprinkle some chaat masala on top of this.
  11. 6) heat a non-stick tava and put some butter on it.
  12. 7) place the bread slices with the rava veggie mixture on top of the buttered tava and let it get toasted for sometime.
  13. 8) now turn the bread upside down and let the side with rava get toasted for sometime.
  14. 9) add butter if necessary.
  15. 10) serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
