    Method
  1. Sieve the cocoa powder, plain flour, baking powder and soda bi-carb on a plate.
  2. Combine all the ingredients together with 1/2 cup (100 ml.) of water in a bowl and mix well using a whisk.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 150 mm. (6") diameter baking tin.
  4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean.
  5. Remove from the oven, cut into 1" square pieces.
  6. Serve or use as per required.

Very easy recipe.low on sweetness my parents enjoyed it very much.

I tried the recipe with the exact ingredients but the batter turned out to be dry. Hence I added more condensed milk. The cake is soft but very buttery, so I suggest to reduce the butter & increase the milk. Also I used salted butter so the cake had a salty tinge to it (since we are not using sugar, sweetness is provided by the milk only). Its better to use unsalted butter.
