The unusual combination of suran and chana dal makes these tikkis a must try. Mint and chaat masala perk up the flavour. Avoid garlic if you would prefer a milder and simpler taste. Since these are roasted without any oil, use non-stick cookware for better results.

This tiki is one of the best I have tasted... From the time I ate a kebab in a 5 star restaurant with yam, I was wondering how to do it. With dal, this is a healthy recipe. Tarla dalal site just has anything and everything one can cook... For a working women like me, post marriage , this site would not only help in making a variety of foods, but also in picking recipes based on quick or pregnancy or brings smiles and appreciations when you bring yummy platter even for diabetic people! Love this site!
