These dainty pasta shells, make a colourful dish that tastes as good as it looks.

1 1/2 cups boiled shell pasta
4 tomatoes
1 onion , chopped
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 carrot , chopped and blanched
1/3 cup boiled green peas
1 capsicum , chopped
1/4 tsp chilli powder
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
4 tsp butter
salt to taste

For The Topping
4 tbsp grated processed cheese

  1. Put the tomatoes in hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove the skin and grate them.
  2. Heat the butter and fry the onion and green chili for 1 minute.
  3. Add the carrot, green peas and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato puree, chilli powder and tomato ketchup and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the boiled macaroni and salt.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese and bake in a hot oven at 200 degree c ( 400 degree f) for 10 to 12 minutes. Serve hot.
