Ingredients


1 3/4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup butter (no substitutes)
a pinch of salt
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar

Method

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla
  3. Combine the flour, granulated sugar and salt and add gradually to the creamed mixture.
  4. Add chopped pecans.
  5. Shape into little balls and flatten.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 375f for 16 min or until golden brown.
  7. Cover the cookies with powdered sugar.
