Do we have to use unsalted butter or salted butter is fine? Also, is it necessary to use castor sugar? Can I use icing sugar instead?

Tarla Dalal    Castor sugar and soft salted butter both are a must.

Hi I tried this and also the chocolate chip cookies but after I bake them they dont turn out crispy. They tend out to be a little soft. Is there anything I''m going wrong about ?? How long am I allowed to cool it down before I transfer it to an air tight container??

Tarla Dalal    Hi Charvi, Yes once it is baked, allow it cool completely at least for 1 to 2 hours. Then you can store it in an air-tight container.
