Layered Fruit Custard, also known as Eggless Fruit Custard or Indian Fruit Custard, is a delightful dessert that beautifully combines creamy vanilla custard with fresh fruits, crunchy biscuits, and jelly. This layered treat looks stunning in tall glasses, making it perfect for parties, celebrations, or a special family treat. The mix of creamy custard, juicy fruits, and crushed digestive biscuits creates a wonderful contrast of textures and flavors in every bite.

The heart of this dessert is the smooth and silky vanilla custard sauce, made using custard powder, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence. When chilled, it becomes rich and velvety, offering a soothing sweetness that pairs perfectly with fresh fruits. Since this is an eggless custard, it is suitable for vegetarians and those who avoid eggs. The custard layer ties the entire dessert together by adding a deliciously creamy base to the crunchy and fruity layers.

Using digestive biscuits as the first layer gives the dessert a wholesome crunch and a slight sweetness that complements the creaminess of the custard. These biscuits also absorb a bit of moisture from the custard, turning slightly soft while still retaining their grainy texture, making the base taste almost like a biscuit crumble. The layer of mixed fruits—such as strawberries, grapes, papaya, and apple—adds freshness, color, and natural sweetness to the dessert.

The addition of strawberry jelly enhances the fun factor and adds a playful, chewy texture that kids especially enjoy. It also brings a bright pop of color to the layers, making the dessert visually appealing. To finish it off, almond slivers are sprinkled on top, adding a subtle crunch and nutty flavor that balances the softness of the custard and fruits. This combination of creamy, crunchy, juicy, and chewy textures makes every spoonful delightful.

This Vanilla Custard Dessert is incredibly versatile. You can add seasonal fruits, swap biscuits for granola, or adjust sweetness based on preference. It’s also a great way to include fruits in children's diets, as the colorful layers make the dessert attractive and exciting. The dessert can be prepared ahead of time, making it convenient for hosting guests or planning a festive menu.

Overall, Layered Fruit Custard is a fun, vibrant, and crowd-pleasing dessert that balances flavors and textures beautifully. Its combination of fresh fruits, creamy custard, crunchy biscuits, jelly, and nuts makes it irresistible for both kids and adults. Whether served at a family dinner or festive celebration, this digestive biscuit custard dessert is sure to impress with its rich taste and stunning presentation.
