Banana Pancakes recipe | banana pancakes made from whole wheat flour |

Here's a delightful recipe for Banana Pancakes, crafted with whole wheat flour for a healthier twist! These pancakes are not only delicious but also packed with good-for-you ingredients like mashed banana and walnuts. They're perfect for a wholesome breakfast or a satisfying snack.

To whip up these Banana Pancakes, you'll need the following ingredients: 1/4 cup mashed banana, 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts (akhrot), 1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta), 2 tbsp wheat bran, 1/2 cup milk, 4 tbsp castor sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1 tbsp melted butter for the batter. You'll also need 3 tsp butter for cooking the pancakes, and for serving, some sliced banana and honey.

The method is simple and straightforward. First, in a deep bowl, combine all the ingredients listed for the batter and mix well. Next, add ½ cup of water and whisk thoroughly until no lumps remain, ensuring you have a smooth batter.

Now, it's time to cook! Heat a non-stick tava (griddle). Once hot, pour a portion of the batter onto the tava to form a 100mm (4”) diameter thick circle. Put ½ tsp butter on the edges of the pancake. Cook each pancake on a medium flame until both sides turn a beautiful golden brown color.

Finally, to make 5 more pancakes, repeat steps 3 and 4 with the remaining batter. Serve your freshly cooked Banana Pancakes immediately, topped with sliced banana and a generous drizzle of honey. Enjoy this nutritious and tasty treat!
