Tarla Dalal    Ajwain is considered as a hot food for the stomach. If you are having it for weight loss, prefer to have it in the morning. If you are having it ease indigestion, you will have to check the quantity and frequency that suits you. This is because there are individual differences always.

Just wanted to know after making this, can you store it in a bottle for 6 month use, as and when you require it OR is it just for one time use after it''s made. Because you get these Omam bottels in stores also which has an expiry date. Kindly suggest..... Regards

Hi , I have been suffering from GERD and started medication and controlled food habit to manage to acid reflux, but still feeling bloting and reflux all most all the time. Do u think drinking ajwain could improve the situation.

Tarla Dalal    Yes you can try with a small quantity of Ajwain water. Also it would be best if you avoid eating 2 hours before going to bed, avoid gas forming foods like toovar dal, starchy vegetables etc at night time and follow some basic physio exercise to keep bloating at bay.

Tarla Dalal    Dear Raafia, Start with 1/2 cup and gradually increase the quantity. Watch for any side effects. 2 cups at first go might be harmful for the digestive system.
