This combination of spinach and corn is quite familiar but I am using white sauce with this to make it more simple and tasty

Spinach Corn Bake recipe - How to make Spinach Corn Bake



Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving


For The White Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste
2 tbsp grated processed cheese

Other Ingredients
1 tsp butter
1 tsp ginger (adrak) chilly paste
2 cups chopped spinach (palak)
1 cup cooked corn (makai ke dane)
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp finely chopped onions
salt to taste

For Garnishing:
3 tbsp grated processed cheese
2 tbsp salted biscuits powder
For the white sauce

    For the white sauce
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of butter on gas and put maida and saute on a slow flame.
  2. Add the milk slowly while stirring continuously.
  3. cook till the mixture thickens.
  4. Add salt,pepper powder,cheese and mix well.
  5. Off the flame and keep aside the prepared white sauce.

For the spinach corn mixture

    For the spinach corn mixture
  1. In an another pan heat butter and put ginger chilli paste and saute for 30 seconds.
  2. Then add chopped spinach,corn and saute till spinach gets cooked.
  3. Now add salt, pepper powder and onion and saute for another 2 minutes and off the flame.
  4. Add the white sauce and mix well
  5. In a greased baking tray pour this mixture and
  6. put the grated cheese and salt biscuits powder
  7. and bake in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes at 250 C temperature.
  8. serve hot.
