Mango Bahar Sevaiyan recipe - How to make Mango Bahar Sevaiyan

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

1 cup mango pulp
700 ml milk
sugar to taste
50 gms vermicelli (seviyan)
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
a pinch saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in rose water
chopped nuts for garnishing
  1. Put milk in a pan and boil until it is reduced to half.
  2. Add the sugar and vermicelli and mix well.
  3. Add the mango pulp, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the saffron, cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Remove from the flame and keep in refrigerator to chill.
  6. Serve chilled garnished with nuts.
