2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp lemon juice

    Method
  1. Combine the chia seeds, honey, lemon juice and 2 cups of water in a jar and mix well.
  2. Cover and keep refrigerated for atleast 1 hour.
  3. Just before serving, stir and drink.

Tarla Dalal    Hi Jean, Chia Seeds is a healthy seed to consume on a daily basis. They are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which help to raise HDL cholesterol. Chia seeds are rich in fibre and high in protein. They provide a long slow release of energy which is great for endurance athletes and fat burning. Consume this as your daily heathy diet. I am part of the Tarla Dalal team and have been taking it for 3 years daily!

is it safe to drink chia seeds water regularly n is it okay to drink it pre or post pregnancy or who are planning for pregnancy? thanx for replying....

Thanks for this Chia seed recipe. This simple drink takes minutes to prepare and i have it any time during the day. Adding lime and honey makes it much tastier that drinking only soaked chia seeds.
