  1. In a salad bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the salad.
  2. In a pan, heat the oil and add the ingredients for the tadka (curry leaves & hing in the last), when it splutters, add it to the salad.
  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve fresh or chilled.

I have made this salad with finely chopped coconut, cabbage, grated carrot, green chili, kadi patta, lemon juice, Kala names, and lots of coriander... And it''s good
