An unusual combination of fruits dressed in a pleasant muskmelon dressing makes this a fabulous salad. Apple and chickoo have contrasting flavours and textures, which complement each other beautifully.

The dressing combines the soothing flavour and pleasing colour of muskmelon with the josh of roasted cumin seeds and coriander, to give a really fabulous flavour and mouth-feel to the salad.

Ingredients
2 cups roughly chopped apple (unpeeled)
1 1/2 cups peeled , deseeded and roughly chopped chickoo

To Be Blended Into A Muskmelon Dressing
1/2 cup chopped muskmelon (kharbooja)
1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera)
1 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt and to taste
Method
  1. Combine the apple and chickoo in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour the dressing over it and toss gently.
  3. Serve immediately.
