Combining fruits and vegetables together in a salad is a good idea, because you will get a natural mix of multiple flavours and textures. The Creamy Beetroot and Pineapple Salad, for example, gives you a tinge of sweetness from beetroot, a bit of tang from pineapples along with the mushy, soothing taste of potatoes.
Seasoned with pepper and served with Salad Cream, this becomes a delightful treat with a very enjoyable texture and flavour. Refrigerate for some time before serving, so that the salad sets and the ingredients get a refreshing crunch.
- Combine the beetroot, pineapple, potatoes, little salt and pepper in a deep bowl and mix gently.
- Add the salad cream and toss gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and serve chilled.
