A sweet and spicy Meetha Achaar recipe which comes straight from the grandmas' closet of pickle recipes. The mango based sweet pickle or achaar is best enjoyed with parathas or puris.

Ingredients


1 kg raw mango (not very sour ones)
250 gms sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp red chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala

Method

  1. Peel the mangoes and grate them.
  2. Put grated mangoes and all the ingredients in a pressure cooker and cook to blow a whistle.
  3. Cool it and store it in jar.
