Ingredients

For The Potato Filling
1 tbsp pure ghee
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander- cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
salt to taste
8 bread slices
4 medium sized potatoes , boiled
4 medium sized tomatoes
100 gms butter
3 tbsp ghee
Method

Method to make the potato filling.

    Method to make the potato filling.
  1. Heat a non- stick pan and heat the ghee, after heated add the cumin seeds, when they crackle add the coriander cumin seed powder, chilli powder, garam masala and mix well.
  2. Add the potatoes and mix well.
  3. Add the salt and mango powder and mix well.

How to proceed

  1. Take a bread slice apply ghee on one side and butter on the other.
  2. On the buttered side put the potato filling and the tomatoes and sprinkle some salt and close the sandwhich with the ghee slice bread.
  3. Prepare the remaining sandwiches in the same way.
  4. Grill the sandwiches in a griller till brown and crispy from both the sides.
  5. Remove from the griller and apply some butter on top and serve immediately with green chutney.
