100 gms plain chocolate or milk chocolate , broken into small pieces
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/3 cup milk
3 tsp cocoa powder (approx)
200 gms (7 oz.) fresh cream
4 to 5 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp butter

  1. Melt the butter and fry the flour on a slow flame for 1/2 minute.
  2. Add the milk, chocolate pieces, cocoa, cream, sugar and 1 teacup of water. Go on stirring and cooking on a slow flame until the mixture becomes thick.
  3. Stir in the essence.
