You can also stir in 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated cheese or 2 teaspoons prepared mustard and a dash of worcestershire sauce after cooking the basic white sauce.
- Place butter/margarine in a dish and haet on high for 20-30 seconds.
- Stir in flour and salt.
- Add milk,stirring until smooth.
- Cook on medium for 3 to 4 min.
- And your white sauce is ready.
