Eggless Molten Lava Cake | Indian Chocolate Lava Cake | Eggless Dark Chocolate Lava Cake |
The Eggless Molten Lava Cake is a dream dessert for every chocolate enthusiast, offering a rich blend of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and buttery sweetness. This indulgent treat delivers the signature molten centre without using eggs, making it perfect for vegetarians or those avoiding eggs. Whether you call it Indian Chocolate Lava Cake or Eggless Dark Chocolate Lava Cake, the experience remains decadently satisfying.
To prepare this treat, milk, soft butter, and dark chocolate cubes are melted together to create a smooth base. Once cooled, a mixture of plain flour (maida), powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder is whisked in to form a glossy, lump-free batter. The combination of dry and wet ingredients ensures a soft outer cake with a gooey molten core that chocolate-lovers crave.
The batter is poured into greased and dusted molds and baked briefly at 180°C (360°F) for just 15 minutes. This short baking time is essential, as it keeps the centre in its molten state while the exterior sets perfectly. Overbaking would harden the molten heart, so timing plays a crucial role in achieving the signature lava effect.
What makes the Eggless Molten Lava Cake irresistible is the moment it is unmoulded—warm chocolate begins to ooze out, creating pure bliss for the senses. The cake must be served immediately after baking to enjoy the true molten texture. The contrast of the firm outer layer and the flowing chocolate inside is what gives this dessert its legendary status.
Loved across cafés, restaurants, dessert bars, and even pizzerias, the Molten Lava Cake remains a timeless favourite for celebrations or after-meal treats. Using milk at room temperature and carefully managing bake time ensures perfect results. With its intense chocolate flavour and melt-in-the-mouth consistency, this eggless lava cake is sure to delight anyone who takes the first warm, gooey bite.
