Ingredients

For Honey Chilli Potatoes

To Be Mixed Into A Batter Using 3/4 Cup Water

To Be Mixed Into Sauce Mixture Using 1/2 Cup Water

Method

For the fried potato fingers
 

  1. To make honey chilli potatoes recipe, heat enough water in a deep pan, add salt, vinegar and mix well.
  2. Bring it to a boil then add the potato fingers, par-boil them on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and spread them on tray to cool.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan, dip and coat the par boiled potatoes well in the batter.
  5. Deep fry them on a medium flame until light golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain them on an absorbent paper and keep aside.


How to proceed
 

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in an iron wok or deep pan, add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and spring onion whites and greens.
  2. Sauté on a high flame for a minute. Add the onions, capsicum and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the sauce mixture and cook on a high flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the fried potato fingers, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook on a high flame for 2 minutes.
  5. Add honey, spring onion greens and mix well.
  6. Serve honey chilli potatoes immediately sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Wow.. honey chilli potatoes.. this recipe was just perfect.. the potato was coated well with the marination.. And also coated the honey mixture.. very well on each potato finger.. this is a must try recipe.. for a party or a family get together.

Hi Tarlaji i have one question if we fry patatato fingers before one hour and can add in honey and chillies mix when the guests are coming or fried fingers have to added immediately and served also immediately
