Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp melted butter
a pinch of salt
butter for greasing and cooking
Method
- Combine the plain flour, cornflour, milk, sugar, butter, salt and ¼ cup of water in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk till no lumps remain.
- Heat a 150 mm. (6”) non-stick pan and brush it lightly with butter. Cool slightly, pour a ladleful of the mixture into the pan and tilt in a circular motion to make a 150 mm. (6”) round.
- Cook it, using a little butter, till light pink spots appear on both the sides.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make 5 more crêpes.
- Use as required.

To make the Crepes, Eggless Sweet Crepes for Dessert, in a deep bowl, add the 1/4 cup plain flour (maida). Since this is an eggless recipe, we only use some flours and milk as our basic ingredients.

Add the 1/4 cup cornflour.

Add the 2 tbsp. powdered sugar. and a pinch of salt.

Add the 1/4 cup milk.

For softness, we will add 1 tbsp. melted butter to the batter.

Finally add approximately ¼ cup of water to the batter.

Start mixing the ingredients using a whisk.

Continue whisking till no lumps remain to make a batter of pouring consistency.

Crepes.. I thought crepes can be only made by using eggs. But here i got this recipe for making delicious crepes without eggs... superb. I served this to my guest with different toppings, and they just loved it. Thank you for this recipe..

These sweet crepes are simple to make.. this goes well with any stewed fruits.. with some maple syrup.. or any kind of sweet sauce..
