2 cups chopped apples (unpeeled)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder

  1. Combine all the ingredients along with 2 cups of water in a broad non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 20 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Mash it lightly and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Cool completely and store in an air-tight container. Use as required.
