Guava is a natural laxative as it is high in fibre and can help you if you're having digestive problems like constipation. This unusual concoction is a powerhouse of Vitamin C and fibre.
Have it with your afternoon snack to complement a chatpata dish like chaat . Remember to use fully ripened guavas as they taste the best and also you need to add less sugar to this drink thus making it more healthy.
- Combine the guava and 1½ cups of water in a broad non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Cool completely, blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl and add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour 3 tbsp of the guava mixture in each glass, add 1 glass of chilled water in each glass, mix well and serve immediately.
