You can use whichever type of milk suits you best – cow's milk, buffalo milk or almond milk. The shake tastes just great with a tinge of dates and the natural sweetness and fruity aroma of bananas!

Ingredients
2 cups chilled milk / almond milk
4 dates (khajur) , deseeded
3/4 cup roughly chopped bananas
Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Pour equal quantities of the shake into 3 individual glasses and serve immediately.

I personally have experienced that drinking cold milk relives acidity, so I tried this recipe. With the addition of dates and banana, sugar isn''t really needed. It''s sugar-free and quite filling which is beneficial to overcome acidity as well as prevent it too!
