This is a unique smoothie that focuses on coconut milk rather than fruits, ice-cream or yoghurt. The soothing flavour of coconut milk is perked up with the herby notes of basil, along with pineapples for tang, and spinach and flax seeds for more nutrition.
The blend of flavours and textures is just awesome in the resulting Coconut Basil Smoothie. The creamy mouth-feel together with the refreshing flavours make it a great hit with anybody.
You can also try other exciting smoothies like the Papaya and Green Apple Smoothie and Melon Smoothie, Kharbuja Smoothie .
- Combine all the ingredients along with ¼ cup of water in a mixer and blend till smooth.
- Pour equal quantities of the drink into 4 individual glasses.
- Serve immediately garnished with a little shredded coconut.
