With loads of protein and fibre, this delicious, soft and chewy Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookie pampers your palate while averting the harm of fat-laden maida based cookies. Having it with a glass of warm milk will soothe you and make you feel much better.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the chocolate chips in a deep bowl and knead into a dough without using any water.
  2. When it is ready, add the chocolate chips and knead the dough lightly again.
  3. Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes and divide it into 18 equal portions.
  4. Roll out each portion into a round and flatten it between your palms to make a circle of 37 mm. (1½”) diameter circle.
  5. Place the cookies at equal distance on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160°c (320°f) for 35 to 40 minutes or till the cookies are golden brown.
  6. Cool completely and store in an air-tight container.

I just tried this recipe. Apples, chocolate,wheat flour,oats a super combination, just feels so healthy. now no guilt of having cookies.. loved it

I tried this recipe and it is just mind blowing. The oats, apple and chocolate chips is a unique combination yet so so delicious. I had 1 cookie and then its difficult to control. They are slightly gooey and chewy but yummy.

Hi, You can bake in an convection oven. Set the oven at given temperature as per the recipe and bake it. If you still find it is underbaked you can increase timings by 5 minutes and check.
