  1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the purple yam and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the chilli powder, black salt and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve immediately.

Wow such a simple and easy cooking method, yummy too.It goes well with special kand masala too.Being gujarati I have tried kand chat also with special kand masala which is made especially for kand chat but not easily available everywhere and very very famous and popular in Nathdwara.
