I am just wondering why you have to dry roast them? I would think that would take some of the nutrients out then doing it with raw seeds? Thank you! Cassandra

Tarla Dalal    The dry roasting is to remove the raw smell and flavour of the seeds.

Protein powder with 5 seeds is really good. But how can we make its shelf life at least 12 months ? Please advise us.

Tarla Dalal    We would not advise storing this powder for 12 months as it will lose its flavour over time. The best option is to make in small quantities as mentioned in the recipe and store in an air tight container in the fridge in the spice compartment. It should stay fresh for about 3 to 4 months.

Can this be added to milk n given for kids? Is it necessary that the content should be refrigerated? What could be the shelf life mam?

Tarla Dalal    This powder can be served to kids too. The powder is best refrigerated. You can try serving them in the form of vanilla protein shake or chocolate protein shake as shown in the recipe with step by step photos.

Tarla Dalal    Yes this is good for weight loss. You can add a spoon of this powder to glass of milk or almond milk and consume it. We do not recommend adding this powder to water.
