Opt for this low-fat, high-calcium dip to accompany your snacks. Curd and paneer are mixed well and dill leaves added for a nice herbal flavor. This dip tastes splendid with nachni crisps. Serve it chilled.

1/2 cup low-fat curds (dahi)
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups low-fat milk (99.7% fat-free , readily available in the market)
1 tbsp chopped dill leaves (shepu / suva bhaji)
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies

For Serving
nachni crisps

  1. Combine the curds and salt in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Put the milk to boil in a deep non–stick pan.
  3. When it starts boiling, add the curds, dill leaves and green chillies and mix well.
  4. Remove from the flame and stir gently until the milk curdles.
  5. Strain it using a strainer or a muslin cloth.
  6. Cool slightly and refrigerate for atleast an hour.
  7. Serve chilled with nachni crisps.

Handy tip:

  1. If the milk does not curdle, then cook for a while.
