Ingredients

Orange Barfi
1 tbsp ghee
2 cups milk powder
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup orange segments
1/2 cup orange crush
1/4 cup powdered sugar

For Garnish
1/2 tsp almond (badam) slivers
1/2 tsp pistachio slivers
Method

For orange barfi

    For orange barfi
  1. To make orange barfi, heat ghee in a broad nonstick pan and add oranges and orange crush. Mix well.
  2. Cook them on medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes or until the moisture evaporates.
  3. Then add milk powder and milk and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes, while stirring continuously until it forms a lumpy mixture.
  4. Line (5 inch × 5 inch) square aluminium tin using parchment paper and put the barfi mixture and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle some almond sliver and pistachio sliver and pat it gently using a spatula.
  6. Set it in the refrigerator for 1 hour remove and cut into 16 equal pieces.
  7. Serve the orange barfi immediately or store in refrigerator for 2 days and use as require.
