1 1/4 cups steel cut oats
  1. Soak the oats in enough hot water for overnight. Drain well.
  2. Heat 2½ cups of water in a deep non-stick pan, add the oats, mix well cover it with a lid and cook on a medium flame 10 minutes or till it is soft. While stirring occasionally.
  3. Allow the oats to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 days and use as required.

This is a great idea to cook steel cut oats in a batch and use it for 5 days. Daily i take a small portion of Oats and just add a fruit of my choice like apple or strawberry and some almond milk. Steel cut oats is far more healthier than regular quick rolled oats.
