If your palate thinks spice is nice, then this Chilli Dip will be perfect to dip your chips into! Made with loads of red chillies, pungent onion and garlic, and tangy tomato and soy sauces, the Chilli Dip is a fiery accompaniment that goes well with almost all bland finger foods, especially potato chips and baby corn fritters.

Ingredients
Main Ingredients
10 whole dry Kashmiri red chilli
2 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
For Serving
nacho chips or tortilla chips of your choice
Method
- Deseed the red chillies and soak them in enough lukewarm water for 30 minutes. Drain well.
- Combine all the ingredients including the red chillies and blend in a mixer to a fine paste without using any water.
- Serve with chips of your choice.

This recipe was spicy and garlicky, this was a thick dip. I served this with chips and it was a great combo. The onions is what makes this recipe different in taste and texture.
