For those who love the crisp sweetness of icing sugar, baking expeditions are never complete without the Vanilla Glaze Icing for Cakes and Pastries.
Drizzling just a little bit of this vanilla-flavoured glaze has a very aesthetic impact on everything from Cinnamon Rolls and cupcakes to coffee cakes and chocolate pastries.
- Sieve the icing sugar, gradually add approx. 3 tbsp of warm water in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Use as required.
