Ingredients
3 cups full-fat milk
1 cup boiled and coarsely crushed green peas
5 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder

To Be Mixed Into A Cornflour-milk Mixture
1 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp cold full-fat milk
Method
    Method
  1. Boil the milk in a deep non-stick pan on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the green peas, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the cornflour-milk mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously.
  5. Switch off the flame, add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  6. Serve warm.

This recipe is very different, never thought we could make a kheer with green peas, but it was really yumm and excellent in taste..
