Crunchy croutons have the power to transform a normal soup or salad into an exciting treat! Loved by kids and adults alike, croutons are also easy to make at home. All you need are a few slices of bread and some oil for deep-frying.
You can make these Homemade Fried Croutons whenever you find time and store them in airtight containers, to serve along with delicious soups like Cream of Tomato Soup or with scrumptious salads like the Caesar Salad .
- Cut the bread slices into cubes.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, deep-fry a few bread pieces till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container and use as required.
