I''m not an experienced cook, but grew up with this kind of home food. Tried it today and it was tasty, wholesome and hearty meal. I added a teaspoon of grinded chillies to add a bit more spice. Good recipe just follow the correct measurements.

Tried it for the first time in lockdown. Loved it. What aroma n taste. Had added a tiny spoon of ground green chillies. Taste was yummy. Had it with plain curd. Again request from my husband to prepare it tomorrow. Thanks

Just tried it it was really awesome with Kadhi.I did not soak the rice and green gram for 2 hrs as stated in the recipe, I just dry roasted and cooked the green gram soaked with hot water for 5 mins and it turned out really good.Thank you for the receipe.
